What do Your Customers Want?




After you have watched the video "Ask the Customer" answer the questions below as comments:


1. Why is it so important to listen to your customers?





2. What statistic was mentioned in the video that should make the answer to the question above very obvious?





3.Ultimately what can happens if you donot listen to your customers?





4. Suppose you were tasked with a new football helmet to help prevent concusions. What type of open-ended-questions might you ask? Who would you ask?

1)It is important to listen to your customers because you want to be aware of they like and dislike.
2)About every 9 out of 10 product fail because they do not listen to the customer they still want to use the old ways of marketing.
3) If they do not listen to the customer the product will fail because people are not buying it.

1. Its important to listen to the customer so you will have a better chance of having a sucessful product.

3. If you dont listen to your customers then you will not make what will fix thier problem and your product will most likely fail.
4. I would ask players what makes football helmets comfortable. And then I would ask doctors what materials or design is needed to help prevent large impacts to the brain.

1. It is important to listen to the customers so you know their needs and wants. You don't want to make a product that no one has an interest in buying.

2. 9 out of 10 products fail.

3. You produce a product that they might not be interested in. The product would probably fail.

4. I would ask the questions to football players, coaches, and medical staff. I would ask what do you want to see in the helmets? Is there anything that is in a helmet that makes it uncomfortable? I would also ask the medical staff if they have any new technology suggestions to go in the helmets, and why they should be included.

4. What part of your head do you hit the most? What do you like about current helmets? What would you change? etc. I would ask football players as well as saftey specialists and doctors.

1. If yuou listen to your customers you can then solve their problems, and solving the customer's problems can make you a very successful salesperson.

3. If you don't listen to your customers people won't buy your product, and your product will fail.

4. I would ask the athletes why they need a new helmet, doctors could be asked what type of new helmet could prevent concussions, and why concussions occur in the first place. By using these responses I can create a better football helmet than the one before.

1. If you don't listen to what your customers want, then you won't know what to produce. If you produce the wrong thing, you will not make a profit and your product will fail.

4. I would ask things like "What part of your head do you feel is in the most danger of being damaged?" and I would probably ask football players or coaches.

4. An open-ended-question i would ask if i were to make a new football helmet would be which part of your head gets hit the hardest or what do you think would make for a good football helmet? I would ask the football players, and coaches.

1.It is importsnt to listen to your custom,ers because if you dont satisfy there wants and needs your buyisness will fail. Customers are essential to a productive buisness

1. It is important to listen to the customers because they know what they want and what they want is what they will get.
2. the video said that only 9 out of 10 fail.
3. if you dont listen to your customers then your products may not be sold because you dont know what the customer will want. if you ask the customer what they want and listen to what they want, that will help you sell them the product that they need.
4. an open ended question i would ask is has this helmet been tested to see if it will prevent concusions. and i would probably ask the company that produced the helmet.

4. You would ask doctors where vulnerable part to the head are so tht you can add more protection. you would also ask the players where they feel they need more protection and comfort.

3. Eventually to the extreme your business could end up failing.
4. I would ask someone from Riddell which is a NFL equimpment manufacturer. I would ask of material can me used or how the frame of the helmet could be altered so players are concussion free.

1. If you don t listen to your customer the product will fail because the customer is the person who is buying and if nobody buys the product you will lose money.
2. 9 out of 10 products fail and on eof the main reasons is because they dont ask the customer and they just infere what a customer needs.
3. If you dont listen to your customers your product will fail and possibly you will run out of business completely.
4. I would ask what would you be willing to pay for this product. What features would you like to see and what colors the helmets should be and why. I would ask people who play football, the parents of kids playing football, and coaches around the nation.

What would you like to change about your son's helmet to make it safer?

1. If you don't fit the exact needs/wants of the customer, the product shall fail.

2. 9/10 products fail.

3. You can produce a product that costs you millions and end up being a complete failure because the cusomters do not want it.

4. What are some shapes you would like to see? What should be the ratio to foam padding and air inflated padding in the helmet? What types of straps?
I would ask players and coaches themselves. The people who number one are going to be the ones buying it in the end, and number two have the most experience with the items.

1. They are the ones that are going to be purchasing the products and you have to make sure your product fulfills their wants.

3. They will stop buying your product and it will fail because it does not meet their wants.

4. I would ask football players what they look for in a helment and how can the football helments they are using now be improved.

1. It is so important to listen to the customer because if you dont listen to the customer it is likely your producut will fail considering the customer is the one who is buying your product.
2 9 out of 10 products fail. This shows that you should really know what your doing before you start soemthing and make sure it will work out.

1. Because if just can't assume a product you made for a customer might be the one they needed because if you present it to them, then it might turn out to be the wrong color or wrong item of that customer's needs.
2. That 9 out of 10 will fail.
3. Then you could screw up the product because your not listening to what there saying what they want.
4. Maybe what kind of padding they'd want in the helmet for general questions around there, also you would ask the people who develop and design the helmets.

1. Because you need to know what the customers want in order to sell your product to them, if the customer doesn't want the product, than they wont buy it, no matter how much promoting or advertising you do for it.

4. I would ask the football players, the team managers, the coaches, and than the owner of the team. Ask the players if they like getting their brains beat to a pulp, or what kind of added protection would they like on the field. Than to the coaches and owner I would ask if they would like to have the players to have more playing time instead of being out with injuries.

I would ask people attending certain sports stores like dicks about the helmets and i would ask them questions like "what feature do they look for most in a helmet?"
