1. She means media as in tv, magazines, radio, and any source of marketing to the public eye.
2. For baseball equipment and other items i like such as clothes and accessories.
3. my business would be a baseball store and i would market to people by using signs, tv commercials, and radio. find out where a lot of baseball people are in Apex and put up advertisements there.

1. Using magazines and ads to get the products out to the public that you want to sell. The bigger the media the more oftern you will see the big market companies.


2. When at hockey showcases, a hockey company will show there newest sticks to try and get us hockey players to buy them.



3. I would market to the citizens by a flyer, newspaper ad, or by simply telling people to come out to my store.

1)The presenter uses the term Media to illustrate things like newspapers, televison, magazines, catalogs and the internet.

2)I have been targeted when I've opened my monthly Lacrosse Magazine.

3)I would put ads in the local newspaper and post flyers with a link to a website.

1. I think they mean things like televison, magazines, and radio.
2. An example of when I have been target marketed would be when I get heat protecting shampoo because I use a flat iron everyday.
3. I would market my products to customers I think could buy them.

1. anything that is being broadcasted such as a tv, radio, newspaper, or even internet.
2. when there is a product that is for me or people like me.
3. i would put up signs on the most traveled roads in apex. and would probably even put some ads on facebook and tiwtter.

3. I would make the are feel home like, very nice community place, and cheaper than a high class place.

1)Media is the the news, magazines, TV and anything that catches your attention to get you to buy something or do something.

2)I have been marketed directly to when applying for certain colleges.

3)If i had a business in downtown Apex I would market through local papers and local TV stations as well as word of mouth.

1.The term media is ment is related to anything that you use in a daily basis like a newspaper, a magazine, a commercial on TV.

2. I have been targeted for baseball items in magazines and i know this because every month i get a magazine with just baseball items because i have purchased multiple items in the past relating to baseball.

3. You could sponser a team of some sort or organize a run or something of that sort to get your name out in the open for people to recognize.

1. I think the presenter means media is anything from TV, to the internet, radio, and magazines.

2. I think ive been targeted when i see advertisements for skateboard equipment at the skatepark. They are based around people my age and try and show why me as a skateboarder should buy their product.

3.I would market the local citizens of Apex buy giving the store a small town feel like apex. I would show that my products are not mass produced items from china but more simple and would try to connect with the people.

1. I think the presenter means that media is Television as well as the Internet, Magazines, and maybe newpapers.

2. Maybe about new shoes that just came out and showing how teenage kids wear them. Their trying to tell me I should wear them too.

3. I would advertize about the closness to home. And about other things in Apex that people do and see everyday. I would try to connect with them on a personel level.

2.Sports equiptment is a marketed with my favorite team.

1 by media the presener means ways of reaching customers (tv, radio, billboards)

2 When I read sports articles online I see the same companies ads as I do when I watch games on tv.

3 I would market to the citizens of Apex by getting tv and radio ads in the Apex area and the ads would incorperate things of interest to Apex's citizens

1. When she talks about media she is talking about news, newspapers, magazines, and other venues that most people get their information from.

2. I have been target marketed to certain brands of clothes maybe. Clothes that are designed for teenagers and who promote towards teenagers.

3. I would possibly try to send out flyers in local apex papers or possibly on local radio or tv, maybe even through fundraisers through the local schools.

1. I think the presenter means media as television, radio, and songs certain people listen to.

2. I think as a teenager, I have been part of the target market of the new social media age and anything that comes along with it. I also think anything else that teenagers would enjoy, I would be part of the target market for.

3. If I had a business, I would market by using things such as the local newspaper and local magizines that only people around apex would see.

1) Media is any mode of advertisement, whether it be television, newspaper, internet ads, etc.

2) After a purchase on Amazon.com, a suggestion box for additional items similar to your most recent purchase. This is a result of target marketing.

3) To market to local citizens, the local newspaper, cable television and flyers around town would all be excellent ways to market a new business.

1.The presenter means that media is selling to a specific type of person that is likely to buy the product.
2.When I listen to radio stations that are advertising help with school or tutors on stations that kids listen to.
3. I would try and sponser some of the High School Athletic teams or give our coupons at functions around the community (Parade or High School game)

I've been target marketed before when I buy shoes, like cleats. They try to market to soccer players because they are the ones who will buy them.

I would market it by creating ads to get the word out about my business.

I think term media means like that different ways people try to promote there product to you.

I have been in a target market when I buy soccer shoes. The stores tell you to also look at this great sports stuff other than just soccer shoes.

3)If you had a business on Salem St. downtown how would you market to the local citizens of Apex?

I would make them feel like a nice warm inviting store, just like the town of apex itself.

1.The presenter refered to media as basically any way to get an ad out to the public. Some ways are through televison, commercials, magazine and newspaper ads, posting flyers or ads on the web.
2.I have been target marketed through facebook. When you say that you like a certain page, lets say nike shoes, then ads for that product start to come up on the side bar of your screen. The marketers do this because now they know that you like this particular product and that your more likely to buy it than the average joe.
3. If I owned a business in downtown Apex I would probably put up flyers around town or put an ad in a local newspaper so that it reaches the locals who are more likely to come to my store and i wont waste money advertising to people who would probably never be near my store.

-I think the presenter means that media is a way in which they try to sell you different things in different ways. For example, television or billboards.

2.) Give me an example of when you think you have been target marketed to?

-I have been a target market almost everyday. Teenagers are one of the top people target marketed. For example, being target marked with basketball shoes, brands of clothing, or even food.

3.) If you had a bussiness on Salem St. downtown how would you market to the local citizens of apex?

-I would have an opening day where I would sell things for free so I could get people to my store and try and see if they like what im selling. If it was food then I would give away free food or if it was product materials then I would have a sale.

2. I played in a soccer tournament and they got my address so they started sending me eurosports soccer magazines.

3. I would put my store out on the internet and radio and also give free samples at big events.

2. I have been target marketed to buy a type of satellite TV whether it be Dish Network, DirecTv, or Road Runner.
3. If I had a business in downtown Apex, I would market the citizens by putting flyers on well-known store windows and also in people's mailboxes.

1. Media is the wide range of ways to get your products out there and sell products to customers who will buy your product whether its through The Newspaper, Internet, Magizines, ECT.

2. Internet, everytime you google search something links come up for you to purchase something related to what your looking for so in essence you are a target market for that product, whether its sports quipment, books, shoes, ECT.

3. I would market through the use of the NewsPaper and Mostly the internet, todays society is based largely on internet sales. Also Internet Marketing is normally a lot cheaper and way more effective beacuse itgets your product out to be seen by millions of people not just a couple thousand that read the paper.

1. When the presenter says media she is refering to the advertising business. This could be magazines, radios, tv, etc.
2. The gatorade commercials target people who are athletic and into sports and fitness. These would target me because I play a sport and want to perform the best I can.
3. If i had a business in Apex, I would market my product to the older age group. I would make it intriguing to this group by advertising through magazine ads and radio commercials.

1. I think the presenter meant media was like magazines, tv, radio, plaves to get the word of your business out.
2.We are being "victims" of target marketing every time we watch TV, pick up a magazine, or go ont the internet, because we attract certain companies with our intrests.
3.I would market to the locals by buying local ads spots on local cable, offer things that customers do not want to go really far away for. Put an ad in the local newspaper.
