1. Injury and money
2. You can go to the draft so you get paid and if you get injuried you still have money.
3. You could get injuried and not have enough money to live on because you haven't managed your money well enough.

1. Until you are drafted you deal with the risk of getting hurt and signing with an agent that doesn't have your best interest in mind.

2. You can protect yourself from these risks by not playing in games except for the one's you have to play, and by looking at many agents and interviewing them until you find the right one.

3. If you don't protect yourself you could have a career ending injury, or you could get an agent who tells you to sign a contract that allows him to take most of your money.

1. Some risks that I would have to deal with is keeping my reputation clean and positive, being careful what actions I take and do, and to keep my focus and not get big headed.
2. I can protect myself from these risks by focusing on my goal and to whach out for the kinds of things that might hurt my reputation like my behavior at a party or on campuss.
3. If I do not protect myself from these risks, my positive reputation will become a negetive one, the team that is looking to draft me might think twice about the kind of character that they are letting on the team, and I could lose the potential to be placed as a starter.

1. Some risks that you would have to deal with would be which teams would offer you the best option as being a player on their team. Would you have coverage if you were to get hurt, and to make sure that you are still at the top so you earn the most money possible.
2. You can protect yourself by keeping up with records, researching information about the teams you could be signging, and have meetings with coaches to see how you are doing and what opions you would have.
3. If you don't protect yourself you could end up loosing more money than you earned and your football carrier could be over

1. some of the risk are the potential of being injured, not doing well in the combine, draft stock dropping, and the teams with the top picks might not need someone of your postion.
2. look at the teams that will have the higher picks and determine what type of player they need, make sure to prepare extremely well for the draft combine, if you think that you will fall to far in the draft stay one more year.
3. you could end up slipping out of the first round and end up making a much lower salary than originally expected.

1. What team will draft me? Will I be getting the money that I want? Will I be ready to compete for a starting position when the season starts? Am I ready to play in the NFL? Do I want to leave school? What will happen to me if I dont make it in the NFL and dont have a college degree?

2. Work as hard as possible on my game and be ready to play if I decide to go pro; otherwise, I'd stay in school and get another year of experience at the college level and finish my education so I can get another job if neccesary.

3. If I dont protect myself, I could be unable to make it in the NFL, get hurt, and potentially not make much money because I wouldnt have a great education.

1. One major risk is injury that could potentially ruin your career and leave you without a contract for football. Another is failing school which could keep you from playing sports in college.
2. There is only so much protection you can wear to avoid injury but try to be safe while playing to avoid injuries and keep your grades up to avoid any rule that keeps you away from football.
3. If you do get injured or fail classes then you could be suspended from football or have to stop playing football.

Alyssa Sanchez said...

1. The major risk you have to worry about is staying out of harms way and keeping yourself healthy. People in the draft want you as you are, which is in shape and at the top of your game. If you are involved in a car accident, and that results in you breaking your leg, then your leg doesn't heal properly, that could effect you getting drafted.

2. The best way to protect yourself from these risks is to have liable insurance. Your insurance policy will help pay for things such as doctors visits, emergency room procedures, and other things.

3. If you don't have insurance and you aren't protected then you may not be able to afford simple procedures and medicines that could help you fully recover.

1. If you get injured you could mess up your career and the signing deal then you cant have a bad image going into the deal.
2. Not do anythinhg that could injure you and make right decisions.
3. You could end up not getting the deal and not even get into the NFL.

1. Some risks you have to deal with before you get drafted are that you could get injured, you might have to risk what position you like and what you played in college to go play a different one in the pros, and you could have a bad senior year and decrease your stats.
2. Keep in shape and keep working out to make sure you are not weak, work on other positions as well as the one you are playing right now to insure versitility, and make sure you are leading the team for your senior year.
3. You could lose the top ten spot and/or potentially even being drafted because no team wants a hurt player.

Getting in trouble with the law or letting your grades slip will hurt your chances of being drafted, especially in the top 10.
